Häagen-Dazs Caramel Apple Pie

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Here we have one of the new limited edition Haagen Dazs flavors from this year. It is apple ice cream with fresh diced apples, with caramel and chunks of pie crust. There is also cinnamon in the apple ice cream, which is one of the first things you will notice when digging into this pint. The ice cream texture is fairly average, but still enjoyable, and doesn't detract from the overall experience. Both the pie crust pieces and apple chunks are fairly decent sized, I would say about a little smaller than my pinkie nail, which is pretty good. There is also a good amount spread throughout the pint as well. I did end up getting some pretty good sized pie crust pieces in there, along with the smaller ones that were the same size as the diced apples. Both the pie crust and apples add a lot of texture and crunch to this pint. Caramel was a little lacking though, but most of it was near the top of this pint. Overall I definitely enjoyed this one a lot, and it is definitely the best "apple pie" ice cream I have ever had. Fantastic stuff.

9/10
