Cold Cow Cow Pies Ice Cream
An interesting brand I decided to give a shot after seeing them in the Sheetz gas station near my university. This one is a pretty simple flavor, vanilla ice cream, with cookie dough and chocolate chips. The ice cream itself is ok, kind of grainy and icy, but has some decent flavor. There is plenty of cookie dough and chocolate chips through the pint, but the cookie dough is grainy, and the chocolate chips aren't very rich at all, and don't impart much flavor. I still did enjoy it somewhat, after all it is sugar, and whats not to love haha. Another note to make about this particular flavor, is the use of partially hydrogenated soybean oil in the ingredients for the cookie dough. Huge strike there, and the nutrition facts state a full gram of trans fats per serving. Not that I am all that worried about that anyways, because I am not taking in excessive amounts on a daily basis. Overall, I will be getting my cookie dough ice cream elsewhere. Both Ben & Jerry's and Haagen Dazs make extremely excellent versions.
