750 ml bottle into tulip. Pours very dark brown almost black color with a fairly dense 1 finger dark tan head with good retention. Aromas of raisins, cherries, bananas, roasted malt, and some chocolate and booze. Fairly strong aromas. Taste of raisins, cherries, roasted malt with some slight booze in the taste. This then leads to a strong taste of milk chocolate on the finish that lingers. No bitterness noticed, but lots of flavor is here, fairly well balanced as well. Medium carbonation and full bodied. Very smooth and creamy feeling during the drink. Some slight alcohol noticed in the taste and a fairly strong warming after finish. Overall this is a very enjoyable Belgian Style Imperial Stout. Lots of nice flavor and balance.

Quite an impressive offering from Weyerbacher. The Belgian style definitely gives the imperial stout an interesting dimension in flavor and aroma. Very unique brew, and tasty as well.
