12 ounce bottle into tulip. Pours slightly hazy orange-amber color with a fairly dense 3 finger off white head with fantastic retention that reduces to a thin lacing ring that leaves decent lacing on the glass. Aromas of grapefruit, floral, caramel, orange, and some pine. The aromas are fairly weak. Taste of grapefruit, orange, caramel, and pine. Malty up front with the taste, with a fairly strong citrus bitterness on the finish that lasts for a good period of time after the finish. Fairly good balance of bitterness and sweetness as well. Medium carbonation and a medium-full body. Alcohol is well hidden, nothing was noticed except for a very small warming after the finish. Overall, this is a solid DIPA, it just didn’t wow me.

Solid DIPA. Also I will note that I finally got my hands on a Duvel Tulip, which is in the picture(logo reversed). Probably the greatest glass I have ever seen and held. Such a solid piece of glassware.
