Samuel Smiths Imperial Stout

3.9/5

550 mL bottle. Pours opaque black with a nice thick 1.5 finger tan head with decent retention. Decent lacing. Aromas of chocolate, roasted malts, licorice, dried fruit, roasted nuts. Flavor very much matches the aromas. Very creamy body, not too heavy with low carbonation that actually works well with this. Different than a lot of the imperial stouts that I have had in the past, but I enjoy this one. Solid.

Sam Smiths puts out a lot of good stuff, so check em out. Pretty easy to find brews.
