750 ml bottle into snifter, bottled 101st day of 2011(April 11). Pours hazy golden orange color with a small 1 finger off white head with good retention that reduces to a thin lacing cap. Small bits of lacing cling to the glass. Aromas of orange, cocoa, chili powder, biscuit, honey, nuttiness, and herbal spices. Some nice and interesting aromas with good balance. Taste is actually quite nice: toasted malts, cocoa, caramel, honey, bread, light fruitiness, herbal spiciness, pepper, and the taste of whole chilies(with hardly any heat at all). No bitterness; with lingering notes of chili, biscuit, pepper, spices, and light cocoa on the finish for a while. Medium caronation and medium-full bodied; with a bit of a creamy mouthfeel with very smooth drinking. Surprisingly well balanced beer with all of the spices and additives. Was hoping for more heat; the chilies only end up warming your throat a bit. Alcohol is extremely well hidden with only a slight warming after the finish noticed. Overall this is a damn nice beer; it is not what I was expecting it to be at all. Great balance of flavors and very enjoyable to drink.

I wasn't sure what to really expect from this beer, but it really surprised me. Very nice stuff overall
