750 ml bottle into tulip glass, best by 4/22/2013. Pours very hazy golden straw color with a nice 2 finger fairly dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Some spotty lacing clings to the glass as well. Aromas of big banana, lemon, clove, pepper, bubblegum, light fruits, and light yeast spiciness. Fantastic aromas with great balance and complexity. Taste of big banana, clove, lemon, pepper, biscuit, bubblegum, some tart grain, and yeast spices. Lingering notes of lemon, banana, clove, bubblegum, and spices on the finish for a while. Flavor balance on this beer is perfection. All flavors compliment each other; none is more powerful than the other. Medium carbonation and body; with a fairly creamy mouthfeel and very smooth drinkability. Alcohol is insanely well hidden, I really didin’t notice much at all(yet this is 9%). Overall this is absolutely a world class Tripel. Perfect balance and great complexity. I need to have this more often.

My taste for Belgian ales has improved substantially in the past year. This is the best Tripel I have ever had for sure. This might be my new favorite style.
