16 ounce tallboy can into tulip glass, no canning date. Pours crystal clear reddish brown color with a nice 2 finger dense caramel colored head with good retention that reduces to a cap. A fair amount of lacing clinging to the glass as well. Aromas of caramel, pepper, brown sugar, roasted malt, cracker, raisin, candi sugar, and big yeast spiciness. Nice and balanced aromas with good strength. Taste of big caramel, bread, molasses, roasted malts, light dark fruits, pepper, and herbal spiciness. No bitterness as expected; with lingering notes of caramel, roasted malt, and herbal spiciness on the finish for a bit. Medium carbonation and body; with a fairly creamy and very smooth mouthfeel that drinks easily. No alcohol noticed other than a slight warming after the finish. Overall this is a very nice and drinkable Belgian style ale. Great balance and nice flavors.

This is a very nice and enjoyable Dubbel style ale. I have the other two canned brews from this brewery in the fridge right now.
