22 ounce bottle into snifter, no bottle date. Pours pitch black color with a nice finger dense tan head with great retention that reduces to a thin lacing cap. A bit of lacing clinging to the glass as well. Aromas of big dark chocolate, caramel, coffee, roasted malt, smoke, and wood. Some very nice and balanced aromas here. Taste of big dark chocolate, caramel, bitter coffee, roasted malt, molasses, smoke, and some spicy hops. A fair amount of spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of chocolate, caramel, molasses, smoke, and coffee on the finish. Great balance with just enough bitterness to balance it all out. Absolutely no cloying. Medium carbonation and body; with a very creamy mouthfeel. Alcohol is extremely well hidden with nothing noticed other than a small warming after the finish. Great drinkability, but it is still a bit of a sipper. Overall an excellent milk stout that is not too sweet and has great balance.

Yet another excellent brew from Three Floyds. Not as sweet and dessert like as some other sweet stouts, but still very enjoyable and smooth.
