11.2 ounce bottle into snifter, best by 55th day of 2011. Pours crystal clear dark brown color with a nice 1 finger dense khaki head with good retention, that reduces to a thin lacing cap. Some nice lacing clings to the glass as well. Aromas of big espresso, dark chocolate, roasted malts, caramel, molasses, and some spiciness. Some excellent aroma here with nice balance. Strikingly similar to breakfast stout aromas too. Taste of bitter coffee, roasted malt, caramel, and big spiciness near the finish. Good amount of bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of roasted malts, caramel, and spiciness. Medium body and carbonation, with a fairly creamy an smooth mouthfeel. Alcohol is hidden well, with only a small warming on the finish noticed. Very drinkable as expected for being 6%. Overall a very nice coffee porter, I have a feeling this is better when it is fresh.

Very nice despite the fact that it was well past its freshness date. I will have to try more from this brewery in the future.
