12 ounce bottle into snifter, bottled 08/02/2011. Pours slightly hazy golden orange color with a small fairly dense 1 finger off white head with good retention. Small bit of lacing clings to the glass as well. Aromas of tons of pumpkin, cracker, brown sugar, and nutmeg; with light allspice and cinnamon in the background. The aromas were very much different from what I was hoping for in a pumpkin ale, a little odd. Taste of big pumpkin, bread, nutmeg, cinnamon, brown sugar, and allspice. Finish is a tad dry, with some light lingering notes of pumpkin, spices, nutmeg, and brown sugar. Medium carbonation and medium bodied, with a fairly creamy and smooth mouthfeel. Nice drinkability for 7%. No alcohol noticed other than a warming after the finish. Overall it was certainly different from what I was expecting, but it was enjoyable.

Not really a pumpkin ale I will be seeking out again unless I am at a bar or something. Still fairly enjoyable however.
