750 ml bottle into tulip, no bottle dating. Pours hazy golden straw color with a nice 2-3 finger fairly dense white head with fantastic retention that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Some spotty lacing on the glass, with plenty of carbonation streaming up. Aromas of big lemon, pepper, clove, herbal spices, wheat, grass, biscuit, tart grain, and a bit of funkiness. Nice and interesting aromas; plenty of herbal spiciness. Taste of big lemon, grape, herbs, pepper, biscuit, clove, tart grain, yeast spices, and grass. No bitterness; with lingering notes of big herbs, lemon, spices, grass, biscuit, pepper, and clove on the finish for a while. Medium-high carbonation and medium bodied; with a slight slick and very smooth mouthfeel. Alcohol is extremely well hidden with non really noticed at all. Nice balance of sweetness and spices. Very drinkable for 6.6% and despite high carbonation. Overall this is an outstanding herbal saison; with great drinkability and flavor balance. I would definitely have this again.

Another great saison style from Stillwater. I still have one of their other offerings on hand right now to try out eventually.
