12 ounce bottle. Pours hazy amber color with a 1 finger white head with good retention and nice lacing. Aromas of dark fruits, honey, and spices. Taste of sweet grapes and honey with almost no bitterness. Lingering sweetness of honey on the finish. Super smooth drink with medium carbonation and body with some alcohol warming after the finish. This was definitely a new experience, but this is very enjoyable, and is one of the smoothest drinking 9% beers I have ever had.
A fantastic malty beer from DFH, and I am not even that much of a fan of malty beers.
