12 ounce can into snifter, canned 6/1/11, "Feel Da Chub!" written on the bottom. Pours clear dark brown color with a small, foamy, light tan head with decent retention that reduces to a ring of lace. Not much lacing clinging to the glass. Aromas of big caramel, chocolate, toasted malt, molasses spices, and a bit of whiskey and smoke. Very strong aromas with good complexity here. Taste of big caramel, chocolate, toasted malts, molasses, whiskey, spices, dark fruits, and a bit of smoke and booze. Not much if any bitterness noticed, with lingering notes of chocolate, caramel, whiskey, spices, and molasses. Light-medium carbonation with a medium-full body. Very creamy and slightly thick mouthfeel, with very nice drinkability for the level of alcohol. Alcohol is fairly well hidden, only a decent sized warming on the finish. Overeall an excellent scotch ale from Oskar Blues. Nice balance of flavor and smooth drinking.

Another excellent and enjoyable offering from Oskar Blues.
