12 ounce bottle into snifter. Pours opaque black color with a 1.5 finger dark tan head with incredible retention. Some thick lacing sticks to the glass as well. Aromas of big dark chocolate, oats, coffee, roasted malt, and a bit of citrus hops. Nice balanced aromas here. Taste of a lot of bitter coffee, dark chocolate, oats, and a bit of spiciness as well. Fairly bitter finish of coffee, roasted flavor, and chocolate that lingers for a good amount of time afterward. No alcohol noticed in the taste but a fairly large warming was present on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full bodied. Fairly creamy feeling as well, good drinkability and smoothness. Overall an excellent imperial stout, great stuff.

A very nice stout as expected. Now if only I could get my hands on Silva Stout from Green Flash.
